The AI/ML Engineer Intern, Data Engineering will support the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. This role provides hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, data engineering pipelines, and modern software development practices.
The intern will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to assist with building scalable data and AI solutions using Python, cloud services, and machine learning frameworks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and testing AI/ML models and data pipelines.
• Support cloud-based AI/ML deployments in Azure or AWS environments.
• Contribute to data engineering and MLOps workflows.
• Work with modern AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and MLFlow.
• Participate in Agile development activities and team collaboration.
• Support generative AI and data-driven solution initiatives.
Education and Experience:
• Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship
• Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
• Basic understanding of machine learning, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to AI/ML projects, Git, or cloud platforms is a plus.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required.
